China's express delivery services reached a new milestone on Monday, Nov 11, processing a total of 701 million packages, according to the State Post Bureau of China on Tuesday. From Oct 21 to Nov 11, the national express delivery sector handled a staggering 12.78 billion packages, averaging 580 million parcels per day — 125 percent of the usual daily workload. On Oct 22, the industry also set a new single-day record with 729 million packages processed, highlighting the expanding scale of China's express delivery market and its crucial role in supporting the country's broader economic recovery. The impressive figures underscore how the booming e-commerce sector, driven by the "Double 11" shopping event, continues to fuel both domestic consumption and economic growth in China.
