30 rounds of bullets fired at former councillor, brother in Gurugram; both dead
India TodayA former councillor and his elder brother were shot dead by armed assailants who fired 30 rounds of bullets on the duo in Pataudi block here on Friday morning, police said. According to the police, five armed assailants, who arrived in two motorcycles and a SUV, pumped the bullets into former councillor Parmjit Singh Thakran and his elder brother Surjit Singh Thakran, in front of their house in Khod village. Following the complaint of Ajit Singh, brother of the deceased duo, an FIR has been registered against 13 people, including 8 named ones under various sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 302 & 148 at Pataudi police station. It was pre-planned murder conspired by Dhanora village residents Dhanpat and his nephew Jassu”, Ajit Singh said in his complaint.
