CBSE surprise inspections uncover violations in 29 schools across 5 states, 1 UT

The Central Board of Secondary Education carried out surprise inspections in 29 schools across six regions on December 18 and 19, 2024, to ensure schools adhere to its strict Affiliation Bye-Laws. The inspections began in Delhi on December 18, followed by Bengaluru, Patna, Bilaspur, Varanasi, and Ahmedabad on December 19. Conducted by 29 teams comprising CBSE officers and principals from affiliated schools, the inspections were meticulously planned to maintain an element of surprise and ensure accurate findings.
