Upset over wife not leaving after triple talaq, man gets daughter killed to frame her

Upset with his wife not leaving his house after triple talaq, a man in Uttar Pradesh allegedly paid his neighbour to kill his daughter in order to frame his wife for the murder. The accused, identified as Muzammil Shamad, neighbour Amir and the girl's uncle Mudassir Shamad have been arrested following the complaint lodged by the girl's mother - Shabnam. Read: 4 arrested for sexually assaulting, threatening 13-year-old girl in Tamil Nadu “The accused had met his brother and neighbour earlier this month and wanted to frame Shabnam for the killing of their daughter,” the officer told the national daily, adding that they found Amir’s clothes smeared with the victim’s blood from a nearby field. Shabnam told the police that she married Shamad in 2010 and four years later he gave her triple talaq.
