Kakinada: The transfer of 114 police personnel -- constables, head constables and assistant sub-inspectors -- to Alluri Sitarama Raju district from Kakinada, including from Anaparthi circle, has raised a row. Meanwhile, the district police officials prepared seniority lists and informed the police personnel working in plain areas to move to the agency. Many police personnel who have crossed age 55 and had already served in agency areas sought an exemption from transfer to the agency areas. “More than 100 police personnel submitted their grievances like “poor” health condition of their family members, advanced age, previous record of work in agency area etc.
