Congress candidates hoping to get fielded for Rajya Sabha polls camp in Delhi

According to party sources, the Congress can get 8 Rajya Sabha seats, the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam can get 3 seats, and the Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party can get one seat each. The states from which Congress can get Rajya Sabha seats includes two seats in Rajasthan, two seats in Chhattisgarh, and one seat each in Haryana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh. The names of probable Congress candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls include Ghulam Nabi Azad, P Chidambaram, Anand Sharma, Jairam Ramesh, Mukul Wasnik, Avinash Pandey, Rajeev Shukla, Bhawar Jitendra Singh, Kumari Selja, Rajeev Gowda, Ajay Maken, K Raju, Randeep Surjewala, Pramod Tewari, Pawan Khera, Milind Deora, Chaya Verma, PL Punia, and Praveen Chakravarthy. In Chhattisgarh, where the Congress will get two Rajya Sabha seats, Bhawar Jitendra Singh, K Raju, Ajay Maken, Chhaya Verma, Pramod Tewari are on the probable candidates’ list.
