Removal of spectacles and vision correction through AI-driven technology is now possible in less than ten seconds per eye with the Centre for Sight bringing LASIK laser surgery technology — AMARIS 1050RS with the software Foresight that is offering enhanced precision, and optimising patient outcomes. Explaining the technology and benefit for patients Mahipal S. Sachdev, chairman and medical director, CFS, said that the technology offering better quality of vision to all age groups uses a laser which comes with enhanced speed, better precision and real time eyes movement tracker. “The AMARIS 1050 with the software Foresight allows surgeons to virtually visualize and predict the post-operative corneal shape of individual patient’s eye before performing the laser procedure, ensuring greater accuracy and treatment planning precision. Mr. Dominic von Planta, CEO of Schwind Eye-Tech Solutions, explained that the Amaris 1050 with a 7D eye-tracking system beyond being fast and safe, also enables a personalised treatment approach because every eye is unique.
