TS teachers urge CM Revanth Reddy to resolve pending issues
Deccan ChronicleHyderabad: The leadership of the Telangana State United Teachers’ Federation met Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy recently to discuss pressing concerns within the state's education sector. The TSUTF leaders highlighted the abolition of the Contributory Pension Scheme, resolution of promotion crises, justice for victims of Government Order 317, timely payment of wages and dues, establishment of a joint staff council of employees, and facilitating meetings with teachers' and employees' unions. In response, Revanth Reddy assured them that his government would work towards implementing the promises outlined in the Congress’ manifesto. The delegation included TSUTF president and general secretary K. Jangaiah Chava Ravi, state treasurer T. Lakshmareddy, leaders from the Model and Gurukul schools, as well as representatives from Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya.
