India TodayAn elephant family was saved from a catastrophic collision with an oncoming train due to an Artificial Intelligence -powered camera system in Odisha’s Rourkela. Detailing the incident in a post on X, retired Indian Forest Service Officer Susanta Nanda shared a video that showed the elephants walking towards the railway tracks. The forest department’s advanced AI cameras, installed along the railway tracks, detected the elephants approaching the line and immediately sent alerts to the control room.
