Premier Peter Gutwein said on Monday morning the aged care sector would be able to "transition back to the national position" and allow for additional visits. Over the past few weeks, several aged care homes in the state's north-west have undergone intensive coronavirus testing after a worker tested positive for COVID-19. "If you don't need to go out for non-essentials please stay home," he said, adding police would be out in the region to enforce the remaining coronavirus restrictions.
