Two arrested in Tarwekamp explosion allegedly planned attack a week earlier

NL Times

Two men from Roosendaal, arrested for their alleged involvement in the deadly explosions in The Hague, were reportedly preparing for the attack a week before it occurred. The December 7 explosions on Tarwekamp in The Hague killed six people and injured four others. An explosives expert previously told Dutch broadcaster Omroep West that the jerrycans were likely used to trigger the explosions. Prosecutors said the two Roosendaal suspects, along with a 33-year-old man from Oosterhout and a 33-year-old man from Rotterdam, are being investigated for arson and causing an explosion that resulted in the fatalities and injuries.
