A severe heatwave continues to grip Telangana, with temperatures soaring above 40°C in 28 out of the 33 districts, according to data from the Telangana Development Planning Society. The highest temperature was recorded in Bela in Adilabad, at 42°C, followed by 41.9°C in Kothagudem and Makthal, as per TGDPS bulletin on temperatures recorded from Sunday to Monday morning. Nizamsagar in Kamareddy and Rebbena in Kumaram Bheem Asifabad also recorded temperatures of 41.8°C.
