Pothundy twin murder accused refuses to plead guilty in court

Chenthamara, the accused in the sensational twin murder case at Pothundy near Nenmara, refused to plead guilty at the Judicial First Class Magistrate Court, Chittur, on Wednesday. The Chief Judicial Magistrate Court here directed the Chittur court to register Chenthamara’s testimony in secrecy following a request by the investigating police team. Following his refusal to plead guilty, the magistrate sent Chenthamara to the Central Prison and Correctional Home, Viyyur. The District and Sessions Court here earlier revoked Chenthamara’s bail in connection with the murder of another woman in 2019.
