Alprazolam manufacturing ring dismantled: ₹68 crore worth contraband and assets seized
The HinduA gang involved in illegal manufacture and sale of Alprazolam was nabbed by the Sangareddy police, leading to seizure of illicit assets worth approximately ₹68 crore. The racket was unearthed with the arrest of the key accused, Sudhir Goud, 47, near Mambapur, who had been absconding since December 2024, said the SP of Sangareddy police, Ch. Upon interrogation, Goud admitted to his involvement in the illegal production and sale of Alprazolam across several districts, including Hyderabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Siddipet, and Kamareddy. The police have arrested five individuals in connection with the case, including Sudhir Goud, Bishweshwar Singh, Rajeshwar Sharma, Srivani, and Boda Shashi Kumar, who was responsible for procuring raw materials for drug production.
