JNU students demand dean's dismissal, stir enters Day 2
India TodayStudents' protest continued for the second day at the Jawaharlal Nehru University in Delhi on Tuesday Several student organizations, including the JNU Students' Union, are protesting against the decisions taken at the Inter-Hospital Administration Committee meeting on Monday. Saket Moon, Vice-President of JNU Student Union said, "It is quite unfortunate that the university administration now wants to destroy the original soul of JNU. Moon further said that 60 per cent students in JNU come from weaker families, but the JNU administration has decided to increase the hostel fees, not only the mess charge as well as part of the salary of the guard posted in the hostel on behalf of the students will be given. Prashanth, chairman of JNU unit of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad said, "We are with the JNU Students' Union.
