Special housing schemes for auto drivers, construction workers approved in Delhi

The Delhi Development Authority, under the guidance of Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena, also the Chairman of DDA, launched a series of housing schemes ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections. The DDA announced three new housing schemes to address the housing needs of these groups, offering a 25 per cent discount on flats in Narela, Siraspur, and Loknayak Puram. In addition, the DDA approved the Special Housing Scheme 2025, which would provide 110 flats in Vasant Kunj, Dwarka, and Rohini. The initiative also extends discounts under the DDA Sasta Ghar Housing Scheme 2024 and DDA Madhyam Vargiya Housing Scheme 2024, reserving 25 per cent of available flats for certain beneficiary groups.
