Paypal is one of the safest global payments platform. In a latest blog post, PayPal has announced that the passkeys feature will be available for Google Android customers as well. “Today, we’re expanding passkeys to eligible customers on Google Android devices, starting on Android mobile web1”, the company said in a statement. According to the announcement, the Google Android users in the United States running the Android 9+ OS will be able to create a passkey for their personal PayPal account. The FIDO Alliance and the World Wide Web Consortium created passkeys which have been designed to replace passwords with cryptographic key pairs and digital credentials like biometric sensors.
