A Malaysian restaurant from a rising-star chef opens in Historic Filipinotown

Their conservas are on full display at Bar Siesta, where the brand’s anchovies can top pan con tomate, the clams with beans arrive in a near-overflowing bowl, and tuna is stuffed into peppers.
