NCERT to Launch Remaining New Textbooks For Classes 3 And 6 Soon, Review Done by Dharmendra Pradhan
National Council for Educational Research and Training will introduce the remaining eight newly-developed textbooks for classes 3 and 6 soon, the Union Ministry of Education said on Thursday. According to the ministry, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan did a “detailed review” of the progress of new textbooks development process with senior officials of the school education department and Central Board for Secondary Education chairperson on Thursday, July 4. The NCERT is tasked with developing new books for all classes from 1 to 12 with the National Curriculum Framework for School Education in line with the new National Education Policy, 2020. Pradhan also reviewed the capacity building undertaken for the teachers of classes 3 and 6 who will use these new textbooks.
