Twitter finally starts rolling out its edit button

The social media platform has announced the Edit Button is now appearing for Twitter Blue users in three countries – Canada, Australia and New Zealand – giving them a chance to fix typos and make corrections. This means Twitter users who aren't subscribed to Blue won't get access to Edit Button, although the tool could get a wider rollout in the future. Edit Button is only available for Twitter Blue subscribers in Canada, Australia and New Zealand HOW TO EDIT TWEETS - Tap the three dots in the corner of the tweet that you want to edit - On the drop-down menu select 'Edit Tweet' - Make the edit and tap 'Update' to save your changes Twitter said edited tweets will appear with an icon, timestamp and label so it’s clear to readers that the original tweet has been modified. Note that Edit Button is currently only available for Twitter Blue subscribers in Canada, Australia and New Zealand Twitter announced earlier this year that it would be bringing the Edit Button to Twitter Blue, and started testing it with a small group of users in September.
