BJP makes internal squabble of Trinamool Congress MPs public, posts screenshots on X
Internal squabble between Lok Sabha MPs of Trinamool Congress became public after a video and screenshots of chat of its WhatsApp group for Parliamentarians were shared by BJP social media chief Amit Malviya on social media platform X. The altercation according to sources, video and chat shared by Mr. Malviya and others on X, was between Lok Sabha MP Mohua Moitra and party’s chief whip in Lok Sabha Kalyan Banerjee. “Just because the woman MP speaks fluent English doesn’t mean she can insult anybody,” Mr. Banerjee added. Relaying the information on the altercation, Mr. Malviya posted on X, “Soon after the public spat between two Trinamool MPs in the precincts of the Election Commission of India on 4th April 2025, the irate MP continued slandering the ‘Versatile International Lady ’… This is the stuff legends are made of.” Taunting the Trinamool, he further said, “It is obvious that the chat screenshots and videos of Trinamool MPs squabbling have been leaked from within… Help Mamata Banerjee figure out who leaked them,” Mr. Malviya said in another post.
