70th International Convention of Libraries Association flagged off at Raichur

The two-days 70th International Convention of Libraries Association was flagged off at the campus of University of Agriculture Science in Raichur on Thursday. Vice-Chancellor of Karnataka Central University, Kalaburagi, Battu Satyanarayana, who inaugurated the programme, said libraries play a key role in changing and shaping the careers of students and readers. The Union government has been providing online magazines for students, who should make use of such opportunities,” Dr. Satyanarayana said. Vice-Chancellor of UAS, M. Hanumanthappa, who presided over the programme, said it was a remarkable achievement that libraries providing all information within a second to the readers.
