Jyotika's Ponmagal Vandhal to skip theatrical release, will have its digital premiere in May

Jyotika's upcoming film, Ponmagal Vandhal, directed by JJ Fredrick, was scheduled to hit the theatres on March 27. With this, Ponmagal Vandhal becomes the first film to have a direct OTT release in the history of Tamil cinema. R Paneer Selvam, the general secretary of the association released a video in which he is opposing 2D Entertainment's decision to not release Ponmagal Vandhal in theatres.
