Sankranti celebrated in a grand manner in Thane
The HinduThe Federation of Telugu Associations of Maharashtra, through Thane Telugu Community Cultural Centre, F-TAM, TTCCC, celebrated Sankranti Sambaralu at Thane in Maharashtra on Sunday. Ganji Jaganbabu, president of F-TAM, along with Ashok Kante, Subhash Macha and D. Radhakrishnan welcomed all and briefed on various programmes being done by F-TAM for the community – Telugu, Marathi classes, matrimonial counselling help and match making support, educational, skill development and start-up support. Ramana, chairman of F-TAM and president of Maharashtra State Telugu Sahitya Academy, urged all Telugu people in Maharashtra to build Telugu pride and come together and help one another. Telugu members Kiranmai Ivaturi, Sujana Namaduri, Vani Vemula, Aishwarya Domakonda, Anjali Macha, Raghav Rao, Sunil Bhairi, Haritha Rao, Prasad Nadella, Rony Jaypaul, Arjun Amanchi, Ramana Kumar, Komal Banka, Narayan Macha, Surendra Patnaik, Rakesh Rai, many IIT Mumbai students and young IT professionals from TCS attended and supported as volunteers.
