Ladakh clash similar to China's aggressive moves in South China Sea, US should be concerned: John Bolton
India TodayFormer US National Security Advisor John Bolton has said the United States administration should be concerned about the ongoing border dispute between India and China in the Ladakh region and use its intelligence and capabilities to assist in resolving the matter. John Bolton, while speaking to India Today Group Editorial Director Raj Chengappa in an exclusive interview discussing Bolton’s new book 'The Room Where it Happened', said the Chinese aggression along Indian borders is similar to its movement in the South China Sea where they have built aggressive positions. Bolton also expressed concern over the fact that although India has maintained that it has no aggressive ambitions along the border, incidents such as the Galwan Valley clash raise questions on China’s intentions. "So rather than dealing with the US-India trade relation, I do wish President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi had spent more time on the strategic issues," John Bolton said.
