AAP MLA Prakash Jarwal sent to police remand by a Delhi Court
Op IndiaOn Sunday, a Delhi Court has reportedly sent Aam Aadmi Party MLA, Prakash Jarwal and co-accused Kapil Nagar to 4 days in police custody, in connection to the suicide case of a 52-year-old doctor named Rajinder Singh. Mohammed Irshad, the counsel for accused AAP MLA, however, argued that “no recoveries remained to be affected” and as such the point of police custody was meaningless. Prakash Jarwal and the Suicide Case The deceased doctor, identified as Dr. Rajendra Singh, was a resident of the Deoli neighbourhood in South Delhi and had committed suicide on the 18th of April. According to police officials, a team of about 15 policemen including ACP Sudhanshu Dhama, Vijay Chandel, and Neb Sarai’s SHO Naresh Solanki raided the MLA’s residence in Tigri on Friday afternoon.
