Journalist covering person's death owing to illicit liquor beaten up by police in Bihar's Saran

A local journalist, who went to cover a news related to a case of death under suspicious circumstances, was beaten up by the police team of Garkha police station in Bihar's Saran district. On Thursday, a person lost his life allegedly after consuming illicit liquor in Auda Mal village of Motitajpur panchayat of Garkha police station area. As soon as the information was received, the police of Garkha police station and Marhaura police station reached the spot and started investigating the matter. Earlier, when the Garkha police station in-charge had reached the spot along with his team, local journalists who report on incidents on Facebook/YouTube were also present.
