Giants make too many mistakes in loss to Vikings — but remain in good shape for playoffs
MINNEAPOLIS — Giants coach Brian Daboll didn’t believe Saturday’s game should have come down to a 61-yard field goal attempt by Vikings kicker Greg Joseph as time expired. And Giants cornerback Cor’Dale Flott had an opportunity for a game-changing play when he jumped a crossing route by wide receiver Adam Thielen and appeared to intercept a Kirk Cousins pass. Giants linebacker Micah McFadden bit hard on a play fake and appeared to lose Hockenson in coverage on the tight end’s 12-yard touchdown in the first quarter. !#WPMOYChallenge + Barkley 📺: FOX pic.twitter.com/llYoMpGUl9 — New York Giants December 24, 2022 “It’s crunch time,” Barkley said.
