Kelsey Grammer, who starred as the sitcom’s title character, will reprise his role as Frasier Crane, though the streaming service did not specify whether co-stars David Hyde Pierce, Jane Leeves, and Peri Gilpin would be joining. In a statement, Paramount+ teased that Frasier is “more exactly the same than ever” but did not give an episode count, release date, or storyline. People forget that it was a spin-off of Cheers, I mean younger people that have found it on Netflix, that means that there are so many people from Cheers that have to OK everything.” During its time on air, from 1993 to 2004, Frasier earned 37 Emmy Awards over the course of its 11 seasons and 264 episodes on NBC.
