Intel unveils AI PC programme for developers, to introduce over 300 AI features in 2024
Intel has launched two new initiatives that aim to make AI-enabled PCs accessible and feasible for more people. The chipmaking company plans to to introduce over 300 AI features in 2024 across a spectrum of over 230 designs, from 12 prominent OEM partners Intel is pushing hard to make AI-enabled PCs mainstream and accessible to a wider range of people. The core of this program is aimed at fostering a seamless experience for developers, facilitated through a combination of software, developer tools, and hardware equipped with Intel Core Ultra processors. Matt King, the Senior Director of Client Hardware Ecosystem at Intel, expressed his optimism about this expansion, emphasizing the integration of 150 hardware vendors into the AI PC Accelerator Program. These consolidated resources are meticulously designed to empower developers in harnessing Intel Core Ultra processor technologies efficiently, thereby optimizing the performance of AI and machine learning applications and expediting the development of innovative use cases.
