Alysia Sheppard, a 44-year-old single mother of two teenage sons living on Sydney's northern beaches, recently used Afterpay to buy groceries, despite being on a six-figure salary and relying on Airtasker to find extra work doing things like cleaning 'Last year, I was working four jobs to try and get by, so my main job, I actually make six figures but it's just not enough.'
