Rural police strengthen security in Aluva ahead of Sivaratri celebrations

The Ernakulam Rural police have made extensive security arrangements ahead of Sivaratri celebrations at the Aluva sand ghat and surrounding areas. Around 1,500 personnel have been deployed as part of the security arrangements, including 12 Deputy Superintendents of Police and 30 Station House Officers. Ernakulam Range Deputy Inspector General Satheesh Bino and District Police Chief Vaibhav Saxena inspected the arrangements on Tuesday. Traffic through Aluva town and surrounding areas will be regulated from Wednesday at 4 p.m. until Thursday noon.
