Nirbhaya case blown out of proportion by media, says former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit

Congress leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit has said that the 2012 Nirbhaya gangrape case was "blown out of proportion" by the media. "There are so many cases like this taking place today," Sheila Dikshit said in an interview to Mirror Now. "Sometimes you ignore rapes, just a little thing in the newspaper.little children being raped.and one was made into a political scandal," Sheila Dikshit said. When asked about the measures taken for women's safety, Sheila Dikshit said, "The solutions are with the government of India and Parliament."
