Rock legend Jimmy Barnes beats Drake to the No.1 spot in Australia's ARIA charts
Daily MailRock legend Jimmy Barnes has hit the top of Australia's ARIA chart with Soul Deep 30, an anniversary re-issue of an album he first released thirty years ago. The Daily Telegraph reports that this is the 19th time the Cold Chisel founder and fan favourite has had a No.1 album in Australia, a record for any local rock act. The 66-year-old Scottish born rocker beat out Drake for the No.1 position, while the Canadian rapper's new album Honestly, Nevermind landed at No.2 Barnes is currently on an extensive tour featuring Soul Deep 30.
