'Just not true!' Morning Joe cracks up as Trump doubles down after fact check

Trump claimed that Europe was "loaning" money to Ukraine to help its fight against Russian invaders, but Macron interrupted him at a press conference Monday to say that EU nations had, in fact, "paid 60 percent of the total effort." Trump has demanded perpetual rights to Ukraine's natural resources and selected infrastructure as payback for U.S. aid to its war efforts, but Scarborough said that deal would clearly be unacceptable to its president Volodymyr Zelensky. "The thing about that deal is it would be one thing if you pushed these outrageous demands across the table at Zelensky, siding with the country that's repelling Russian aggression, but there was no security guarantee even attached to that," Scarborough said.
