Revanth Reddy accuses PM Modi of shielding Gautam Adani, demands JPC probe
India TodayTelangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of protecting industrialist Gautam Adani amid allegations of corruption under the US Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, which ‘hurt’ the country’s reputation. Speaking at the ‘Chalo Raj Bhavan’ protest in Hyderabad on Wednesday, Reddy said the allegations against Adani have "hurt the country's reputation" and demanded a Joint Parliamentary Committee investigation into the issue. Organised as part of a nationwide protest called by the AICC, the rally saw Congress leaders, including Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee president B Mahesh Kumar Goud, demand action against Adani. Congress leaders and activists carried placards and raised slogans against the Prime Minister during a march that began at the Indira Gandhi statue near Hussain Sagar lake.
