YouTuber Savukku Shankar arrested in Chennai over pending ganja possession case

Controversial YouTuber Savukku Shankar was arrested on Tuesday and is currently being held at the Teynampet Police Station in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in connection with a prior case of ganja possession. The case dates back to Shankar’s stay in Theni district, during which police conducted a search and reportedly recovered 2.5 kilograms of ganja. The case, being handled by the Special Court for Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act Cases, had previously granted Shankar conditional bail.
