HC Directed TSPSC to Conclude Final Selection Process for the Posts of CDPO and EOs
Deccan ChronicleHyderabad: The Telangana High Court has directed the TS Public Service Commission to conclude the final selection process for 27 posts of child development project officer and 187 posts of extension officer grade-1 in the women’s development and child welfare department, within three weeks. Justice P. Madhavi Devi issued the orders in two different petitions which had complained that the TSPSC had delayed the recruitment even after completion of the selection process such as publication of the merit list and verification of certificates. When the court inquired with the TSPSC, M. Ramgopal Rao, counsel, said that results had been kept in abeyance due to the inquiry into the leakage of question papers of Group-I preliminary examination, divisional accounts officer grade-II and assistant executive engineers tests. He submitted that the appointment to the post of ICDS, additional child development project officer and manager of the women’s development and child welfare department are also kept in abeyance.
