Mysuru court sentences man to imprisonment till death for murdering paramour

A court in Mysuru has sentenced Mahadevanayaka of Halepura village in Kavalande police station limits near here to imprisonment till death for the brutal murder of his paramour in July 2022. Police Inspector of Kavalande police station Lakshmikant Talwar conducted the investigation and submitted the chargesheet against the accused under Sections 302 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code. During the trial of the case in the court of the 6th Additional District and Sessions Court in Mysuru, it was proven through testimonies that Mahadevanayaka had murdered his paramour, said Ms. Kamakshi in the statement. Head constable Mukund of Kavalande police station ensured the timely presence of witnesses in the court during the trial, the statement added.
