Airlines drop mask mandate - what about trains, cabs and other US public transport?

On the same day as Judge Mizelle’s ruling, Amtrak – the country’s main provider of intercity train travel – said face coverings were encouraged but no longer required. “While Amtrak passengers and employees are no longer required to wear masks while on board trains or in stations, masks are welcome and remain an important preventive measure against COVID-19,” the company said on Monday.
