Sydney to Hobart: Balance owner Paul Clitheroe only allowed to race again in order to defend title

Balance owner and well-known financial expert Paul Clitheroe would not be betting on his yacht being again crowned the overall winner in this year's Sydney to Hobart. I said to the media, I think there's every chance last year a TP52 would win, simply because of the weather pattern. "Obviously a DNF on the scorecard's never a great thing for anyone, whether it's a Sydney to Hobart or even just a club race," skipper Mark Richards said. "It's a fantastic event and I'm sure they'll probably be back next year and we'll see what happens, but the competition's the competition and we regard them all the same," Richards said.
