William Tyrrell search in Kendall to last 'weeks and weeks' as police push through poor weather conditions

NSW's top police officer says it could take "weeks and weeks" to sift through the 15 tonnes of soil removed as part of the search for William Tyrrell's remains on the Mid-North Coast. Key points: NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller said 30 specialist officers remained on scene Police have searched less than 20 per cent of three sites around where William disappeared More rain is predicted over the next few days Police officers and specialists in the coastal town of Kendall on Monday morning pushed on with their search for William — who vanished in 2014 — despite poor weather conditions. Speaking in Canberra, NSW Police Commissioner Mick Fuller said the search for the young boy's remains would continue "until investigators believe the job is done". Police have only searched less than 20 per cent of the three sites around where William disappeared in 2014, in the front yard of his foster-grandmother's home in Kendall.
