Tamil Nadu Governor leaves Assembly over 'brazen disrespect to Constitution and national anthem'
India TV NewsChennai: In a shocking incident, Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi left the state Assembly on Monday in "deep anguish" over the "brazen disrespect to the Constitution and the National Anthem," the Raj Bhavan said in a statement. During the House proceedings, the governor fervently appealed to Chief Minister MK Stalin and Speaker M Appavu to sing the National Anthem, but they "cussedly refused," the Governor's office alleged in a social media post on 'X'.
