Where sanity prevailed: Story of hope when Delhi rioters ran amok

When dark clouds of communal violence were hovering over North East Delhi, there were some silver linings dotting the landscape to offer hope to humanity. In this environment of fear, when rioters were on rampage in Chand Bagh area of Delhi, one Muslim man huddled two of his Hindu friends in his small hut to protect them from frenzy Muslim mob outside. In the same Chand Bagh area, a resident of Gali Number-2 said he has never felt threatened living in a Muslim-dominated area. Chand Bagh is one of the worst-affected localities in the riot-hit North East Delhi.
