Aamir Khan confirms starting work on dream project Mahabharat

Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, who turned 60 on March 13, 2025, confirmed that he has begun work on his dream project, Mahabharata. When asked if his fans can expect the project to be a reality within the next five years, Aamir said, “Let’s see how the first phase goes. I will take a call on it after that.” According to many news reports making the rounds, Salman Khan and Aamir have discussed the possibility of a sequel to Andaz Apna Apna, their 1994 comedy film written and directed by Rajkumar Santoshi. “If we get the right script, then why not.” The veteran star, who produced Kiran Rao’s Laapata Ladies— India’s official entry to Oscars — is awaiting the release of Sitare Zameen Par.
