IIT Madras to host Saarang 2025: A cultural extravaganza from January 9-13

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras is set to host the 51st edition of Saarang, one of India's largest student-run annual cultural festivals, from January 9 to 13, 2025. At a press conference held today on the IIT Madras campus, Professor V Kamakoti, Director of IIT Madras, expressed his pride in the festival’s unique role in fostering student creativity. SAARANG 2025: NEW INITIATIVES This year’s Saarang features several new initiatives designed to promote inclusivity and preserve cultural traditions. Professor Sathyanarayana N Gummadi, Dean at IIT Madras, added, “Saarang brings music and life to the institute, and this year is especially significant with the Tamil Nadu folk parade and the Moovarnam dance performance.
