The Hindu

Gordon Library on the campus of Andhra Loyola College is a bibliophile’s paradise thrown open to the public as part of National Book Week celebrations. A book exhibition on the theme “Hamara Samvidhan, Hamara Samman” was inaugurated by P. Ashok Kumar, a philanthropist and a literary researcher, who has embarked on a mission to digitise Telugu books, old pamphlets, songs and books, with his own money. Besides books on Indian Constitution, photographs of the Constituent Assembly and famed museums of the world, the exhibition also has rare unpublished papers and other collections of the great Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, the Oxford English Dictionary in 17 volumes and famous speeches made by prominent Parliamentarians and Noble laureates. New office-bearers Members of the Andhra Loyola College Staff Association chose their new office-bearers.
