The tourist, a 24-year-old woman named Thongkhoth, was staying at a hotel in the Mali Colony area. Udaipur Superintendent of Police Yogesh Goyal was quoted by news website ETv that the woman was initially rushed to a private hospital after the shooting, but was later moved to Maharana Bhupal Government Hospital in Udaipur for further treatment. The number of people involved in the attack remains unclear, and authorities are reviewing CCTV footage from the area in an effort to track down those responsible.
