Australia's wine industry has faced one of its toughest vintages amid trade challenges, but it is not enough to cork young people's passion for the perfect drop. New South Wales-born Mick Elliott said he was a "simple city office worker" only a few years ago, but during the pandemic decided to follow his gut, and palate, and enter South Australia's wine industry. South Australian Wine Industry Association chief executive Inca Lee said more fresh faces entering and being attracted to the wine sector was a positive sign for its longevity.
