The HinduBJP’s Bidhuri in a spot again Hitting out at BJP candidate Ramesh Bidhuri for allegedly calling Delhi Chief Minister Atishi “a doe running on city streets”, the ruling Aam Aadmi Party on Wednesday alleged that the BJP is “anti-women”. Targeting Ms. Atishi and her party for the alleged water shortage and poor roads in the Kalkaji area, Mr. Bidhuri said, “People are living in hell for four years. For four months before the poll, Ms. Atishi has been running around in the streets like a doe roams around in the jungle.” He also said that Ms. Atishi was “clinging” to any woman she encountered in the streets as if she was “meeting a sister separated at Kumbh Mela”. Earlier this month, Mr. Bidhuri had made remarks about Ms. Atishi’s father, drawing criticism from even the BJP, which stated that such comments should not be made.
